Privacy Policy
- We don't collect any data about you. No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.
- Your habits and dogs stay on your devices and in your own private iCloud, where only you can see them.
- Purchases are handled entirely by Apple.
Who we are
Habit Pups is an iPhone app for keeping habits, where each habit is a puppy. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean the maker of Habit Pups. You can reach us at support@habitpups.app.
What we collect
Nothing. Habit Pups has no accounts and no servers of its own. We don't use analytics, advertising or tracking tools, and we don't receive your habits, your dogs, your history or anything about how you use the app.
Where your data lives
- On your device. Your habits, dogs, check-offs and settings are stored on your iPhone (and shared with the app's own widgets on that iPhone).
- In your iCloud. If you're signed in to iCloud, the app keeps a copy in your private iCloud database so it's on your other devices and survives a new phone. This is your own iCloud storage, run by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we can't see it.
Purchases
Habit Pups Plus is bought through the App Store. Apple handles the payment and tells the app only whether Plus is on; we never receive your name, email address or payment details. Apple's handling of purchases is covered by Apple's privacy policy.
Notifications
Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone by the app itself. Nothing is sent from a server, and we don't learn when or whether you open them.
Sharing clips
When you share a clip of your dog, the app makes the video on your iPhone and hands it to the share sheet. It goes only where you send it. Clips show the dog's name and streak, never the habit.
When you email us
If you contact support, we receive what you write and your email address, and use them only to reply. The app's Contact support button adds a few lines to help us help you: the app version, iOS version, device model, whether Plus is on and how many dogs you have. Never your habits. Delete anything you'd rather not send before you hit send.
Children
Habit Pups doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children.
Deleting your data
In the app, Settings › Data › Reset everything deletes all your habits, dogs and history, on this device and in your iCloud. Deleting the app removes what's on the device; your iCloud copy can also be removed in your iPhone's Settings under your name › iCloud.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update it here and change the date at the top. If we ever start collecting anything, we'll say so plainly here and in the app first.
