Short description

Habit Pups turns every habit into a puppy. Check off a habit and your dog celebrates; keep your streak going and it learns tricks, earns toys and gets dressed up. Miss a day and it misses you, until you're back.

Long description

Most habit trackers are checklists. Habit Pups is a yard full of dogs. Each habit you add, from reading 20 pages to drinking more water, gets its own puppy, chosen from 17 breeds and each with its own personality. When you do the habit, you tap its dog and it leaps around in a burst of confetti.

Streaks matter: dogs learn tricks at 3, 7, 10 and 14 days and beyond, all the way to a backflip, and earn a frisbee, a bandana, sunglasses, a cape and finally a golden crown. Miss a day and your pup looks a little sad, but it never runs away and nothing is lost; one check-off brings it right back.

Habits can be daily, on certain days or a few times a week, each with its own reminder. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets keep the dogs in view, and the yard changes with the seasons. There's no account and no tracking: everything stays on the iPhone and in the user's own iCloud.
